Boost #71 The Final Redemption

I am the Lord, your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

A core belief of our covenantal tradition is the promise of the final redemption—a world where swords are turned into ploughshares, war is no more, and humanity thirsts for knowledge of God.

Our sages (Chazal) present different visions of how this redemption will unfold: some speak of a miraculous transformation (achishena), while others describe a slow, natural process (be’itah). The Rambam, Maimonides, emphasizes the natural path—redemption through the rebuilding of Jewish life and national restoration, all within the laws of nature – steady progress toward a world of peace, justice, and Divine alignment.

History—and time itself—is the stage for this unfolding drama. The final redemption is not only a future hope—it is a present process already in motion.

Redemption Is a Mindset

“I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah, Mashiach, and even though he may delay, I wait every day for his arrival.” Rambam, 13th principle of faith.

Each day this week, take a minute to see the world through the lens of redemption. Look at current events as a process of becoming and think how you can align with it.

Set your intention for the day by reciting The Aseret Affirmation: Ten for Ten first thing in the morning.

Wishing you safety and strength,
